Save Yourself Some Money, Get A ‘BioShock Infinite’ Season Pass
2K and Irrational Games has moved on to cranking out DLC for the upcoming BioShock Infinite. They have also announced if you’d like to save yourself a little money you can buy yourself a Season Pass for the game. The season pass can be bought on the day BioShock Infinite is released, March 26th. You can get it for 1600 Microsoft Murders Of Crows or for 20 dollars. Buying the pass will save you 30% in the long run on the 3 DLC packs that are to be released. Even better you also receive the Early Bird Special Pack. Head past the break to see what comes in the pack.
Included in the Early Bird Special Pack are four pieces of exclusive gear, a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, a Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons and five Infusion bottles that allow players to increase their health, their shield durability or their ability to use Vigors by increasing the quantity of Salts they can carry.
Also if you pre order the game you get the Industrial Revolution Pack. This pack grants exclusive access to three in-game gear items that boost combat abilities, $500 bonus to in-game currency, five lock picks and the Industrial Revolution puzzle game, which unlocks stories of Columbia and allows players to pledge their allegiance to the Vox Populi or Founders through Facebook.
That’s a lot of sweet bonus stuff for pre-orders and the Season Pass, and you can save some money later, if you shell it out now.

Legendary Grimdark ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Artist John Blanche Has Passed Away at 78
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, but it was a cheerful illustrator from England who helped to define the terrifying war-torn imagery that inspired what we now know as Grimdark (a hybrid genre combining horror with sci-fi/fantasy).
Unfortunately for fans of Warhammer 40,000, Trench Crusade and countless other sources of Grimdark thrills, veteran artist John Blanche passed away this week after struggling with health issues for the past few years.
While the artist retired back in 2023, he leaves us with an enormous legacy of iconic artwork that continues to inspire gamers and storytellers around the world to this very day.
The news is especially gloomy as it was only last year that Daniel Lowman and Napoleon Dynamite himself Jon Heder released The Grim & the Dark: The Search for John Blanche, a documentary following Heder’s exploration of the Grimdark genre culminating in a heartwarming encounter with Blanche in his own home.
Below is one of my favorite pieces by Blanche, his highly influential depiction of Warhammer 40k’s God-Emperor of Mankind on his Golden Throne.
We send our deepest condolences to John Blanche’s family, friends, and fans.
