The Joker’s origin has largely been a mystery throughout the history of comics, with few creators ever daring to tell how the Clown Price of Crime came to be. Alek Gearhart of SmokingAlien3 Productions has taken it upon himself to explore the Joker’s origin in his feature length fan film, Joker Rising. I have yet to watch Joker Rising in it’s entirety, but from what I have seen it’s one of the better fan-made films out there. SmokingAlien3 has also announced that this is the first movie in what will soon be a trilogy.
