Find Your ‘Phobia’ On Video This October
Loud Pictures and Highland Myst Entertainment are proud to announce the release of Phobia to a wide video-on-demand market throughout North America. Part gothic murder mystery and part vampire horror, this period piece stars Erica Leerhsen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wrong Turn 2), Chase Jeffery (Exposed, American Virgin), Matthew Tompkins (Killing Down, Missionary Man), and Jonathan Brooks (The Next Door Neighbor, Seasons of Gray).
“Set in 1885, Dr. Lesley Parker (Leerhsen) has gained entry to a revolutionary Parisian medical school teaching hypnosis. With Paris plagued by a blood thirsty serial killer, and Lesley preparing to return to San Francisco to open her own psychiatric practice, she is introduced to Val Drakul (Jeffery), a young Romanian man haunted by his family’s tragic past. At the urging of her colleague Sigmund Freud, and accompanied by Val’s cousin Guy (Brooks), Lesley brings him back to San Francisco making him part of a select group of patients all suffering from Phobias. But when the patients start dying one by one, and a stranger named I.M. Casey (Tompkins) arrives believing the Parisian serial killer is among them, everyone points their finger at Val – who may or may not be a vampire.”
Phobia was released on September 1st by Gravitas Ventures to cable, satellite and internet Video-On-Demand markets including Cox Cable, Charter, AT&T U-verse, Verizon, Dish, iTunes, Xbox, Amazon and more. And Osiris Entertainment will release Phobia on DVD on October 15th. Phobia was directed by Jon Keeyes, produced by Blake Calhoun, and written by Anne Gibson.
Scream Factory brought Frank LaLoggia’s 1988 Halloween movie Lady in White to Blu-ray several years back, and now Vinegar Syndrome gives the film a 4K Ultra HD upgrade.

1962. Nine-year-old Frankie Scarlatti enjoys a homespun childhood in a rustic Western New York town. The entire community gets into the spirit of Halloween, but then two bullies prank Frankie by locking him in his school cloakroom, leaving him trapped for the night. Alone and afraid, his slumber is interrupted when the ghost of a little girl appears, and Frankie witnesses the specter of her murder by an unseen assailant. Later, while recovering at home, the girl’s ghost appears to him again. With help from his older brother, Frankie begins investigating the circumstances of her death. He soon discovers that her murder was one of several unsolved crimes connected to a local child-killer. As the town’s bucolic veneer fades and long-buried secrets and tensions bubble to the surface, all of the clues to the mystery seem to point towards a huge mansion inhabited by a reclusive woman known as “The Lady in White.”
A nostalgia-driven ghost story wrapped within an intricate murder mystery and coming-of-age drama, writer-director-composer Frank LaLoggia’s passion project Lady in White remains one of the most beautiful and original American horror films of the 1980s. Featuring acclaimed actors Alex Rocco (The Godfather), Len Cariou (Executive Decision), and Sydney Lassick (Carrie, The Unseen), it boasts the first starring role by Lukas Haas (Mars Attacks, Inception) as well as breathtaking photography by Academy Award® winner Russell Carpenter (True Lies, The Lawnmower Man).
