Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the “scariest games of all time” and while A Machine for Pigs didn’t quite live up to the high bar set by its predecessor, either game would make incredible haunts. Give people a lantern and shove them into the maze so they can enjoy being chased by misshapen creatures or pig machine monsters. The latter would be difficult to pull off, but with a little Hollywood magic I hear anything is possible.
Of all the games on this list, this is really the only one that stands even a small chance of becoming a haunted house. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already, seeing as it’s a wildly popular horror classic that’s set in a labyrinthine environment that’s filled with a bevy of demons and assorted zombies. That’s perfect for a haunted house. Maybe we’ll get it in time for Doom 4.
