The inaugural NuHo Online Film Festival is in full swing, bridging the gap between the exclusive in-theater experience of a traditional film festival and online audiences by bringing a “full festival experience to audiences in the comfort of home.” It’s also the first film festival offering exposure and a revenue share program to filmmakers.
We also happen to be hosting the January 9th NuHo screening of Dave Parker’s Coldwater, screening at the Crest Theater in Westwood (1262 Westwood Blvd Westwood, CA 90024) and have an impressive array of talent onhand for a pre-film Q&A that I’ll be conducting.
In the film, “Andre, recovering from a recent accident, agrees to help his friend Robert by taking over a house sitting job at an unusual home nestled in the heart of ColdWater Canyon. As the day turns into night, Andre experiences strange occurrences that lead him to believe he is not alone, and that someone or something is watching him.”
Joining us for the Q&A will be the film’s director Dave Parker along with Adam Green (writer/director of Hatchet 1 &2, Frozen and “Holliston”), Darren Bousman (director of Saw 2,3 & 4, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Barrens and The Devil’s Carnival) and Adrienne Biddle (producer of Bryan Bertino’s upcoming Mockingbird and former Rogue Pictures exec).
The Q&A starts at 7:45PM sharp and Coldwater will play at 8:30PM. For tickets all you have to do is email RSVP@nuhofilmfest.com! Best to show up early though, seats are on a first come first serve basis! See you there!
