Indie Horror ‘Faceless’ Is No Longer Free-To-Play

The Slender Man inspired cooperative indie horror game Faceless is no longer free-to-play, its developer confirmed in a recent interview. Apparently, the success other commercially available indie horror games have seen inspired the change. If you’d rather not pay, they’re still releasing a free version that will include two maps and the playable prologue, sans multiplayer. If you’re willing to pay $9.99, the full version will bring with it every map and mode, made fully playable alone or with friends, as well as a prologue and epilogue.

Sklar told Idie Statik “Going commercial is the best possible way to ensure we make this game the best it can possibly be, and continue to update it after its release to ensure a massive replayability value and new content.” I’m all right with this change — how about you?
