Bethesda released a new trailer for The Evil Within, the next horror game from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. It looks terrifying, with elements of body horror — the “villagers” are impaled with spikes, wrapped in barbed wire, and/or are mutilated to various degrees — and obvious inspirations from Resident Evil 4. This is one of our most anticipated horror games of 2014, and this brand new trailer only solidifies The Evil Within as a horror game to watch out for.
The Evil Within releases on August 26th for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
