After years of silence, Epic Games, the studio that brought us the Gears of War franchise, revealed Fortnite all over again. It looks like my kind of game. Base-building, resource scavenging, teaming up with some friends to defend against hordes of creatures that only come out at night. I’m on board.
Game Informer has an in-depth look at the game’s arsenal of cute/creepy monsters that’s definitely worth checking out. Personally, I’m most looking forward to besting the Smasher, which looks to be the game’s tank-type enemy (you can see him on the far right-hand side of the above image).
Let’s hope it’s as fun to take down as the Berserker was.
