Straight off Wolf Creek 2, Australian director Greg McLean is busy as heck. Next up he’s heading to the wilderness, coming on board to direct the thriller Jungle.
Variety reports that, based on Yossi Ghinsberg’s memoir “Lost in the Jungle,” “the movie tells the story of a young man with adventurous dreams who heads into the Bolivian jungle with two friends and a fraudulent guide. Their journey soon turns into a frightening psychological test of faith and human fortitude.”
Shooting is set for Bolivia and the rainforest on Australia’s Gold Coast.
McLean directed both Wolf Creek movies and Rogue. He’s currently shooting 6 Miranda Drive, starring Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell.
