Back in 2012 the four-issue run of “Footprints” from Joey Esposito and Jonathan Moore was one of my favorite indie books of the year. It follows the story of Bigfoot, a private detective, and his cryptids companions in a gritty noir world of crime and corruption. Joey has since moved on to other comics work like “Captain Ultimate” and “Pawn Shop” while Jonathan has kept busy illustrating for companies like NECA/WizKids and American Mensa. But the band is getting back together.
The Kickstarter campaign for “Footprints: Bad Luck Charm,” a new double feature one-shot that continues the adventure of Detective Foot, is well under way. For only $15.00 you can snag digital copies of “Footprints: Bad Luck Charm”, the Bad Luck Charm script, an all-new Footprints short prose story, the original inked pages of “Bad Luck Charm”, and the “Footprints” Vol. 1 trade paperback. That’s a damn fine deal. Still not convinced? Check out the free six-page “Bad Luck Charm” story below.
