The long rumored third entry in the Crackdown franchise has just been made official, though we don’t have much in terms of details right now, outside of its being an Xbox One exclusive. Microsoft finally gave in and revealed the game today during their pre-E3 media briefing, and it looks like they’re trying to bring the series back to its roots in cel-shaded gang domination.
The second game wasn’t particularly memorable, but the first is very much a classic. I remember it was one of the first open-world games I was truly excited about. Yes, I was one of those sad souls who spent countless hours collecting all of those orbs.
