When I had the chance to play The Evil Within last month, there was one feature that was still left in relative mystery: the upgrade system. Scattered about the game’s environments is this green goop, which can be collected and used to improve Sebastian’s abilities. It also drops from slain enemies, and it’s not all that clear how Sebastian goes about collecting that. Maybe he has a straw concealed in that amazing vest of his.
