There’s no shortage of post-apocalyptic themed video games to choose from right now — more now than there ever has been — and Insomniac Games’ next title, Sunset Overdrive counts itself among them, though you wouldn’t know it by looking at it. It may take place in a world that’s been overrun by a bunch of energy drink induced mutants, but that world is vibrant and colorful.
Sunset Overdrive looks like the breath of fresh air this genre so desperately needs — a bright orange life saver that’s being thrown to us as we wade in a sea of brown and grey survival games. I’m grabbing on; how about you?
