I don’t know if any of you tuned into FOX’s Sleepy Hollow this past fall, but the debut season was one of the biggest surprises of the past year. It had a complex mythology and rose above the typical case of the week fare that it seemed to promise before it’s debut. The characters were totally engaging and the overall of the first season radically changed everything. I don’t think I was alone in my love for the series either, since it was one of the quickest pickups for a second season in this past year.
Frankly the idea of an adaptation from BOOM! is overwhelmingly exciting. The world is rich with all kinds of demons and makes for an excellent place for comic book storytelling. Given the right creative team this could be one hell of a book.
