Are you ready for the next Alex Aja project?
While we wait for Horns, the Aja-produced The Pyramid (formerly Site 146) is opening in theaters December 5, 2014 via 20th Century Fox.
Gregory Levasseur, who worked with Alexandre Aja on the screenplays for High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes and Maniac, directed the flick.
In it, “A team of U.S. archaeologists unearths an ancient pyramid buried deep beneath the Egyptian desert. As they search the pyramid’s depths, they become hopelessly lost in its dark and endless catacombs. Searching for a way out, they become desperate to seek daylight again. They come to realize they aren’t just trapped, they are being hunted.”
Ashley Hinshaw, Denis O’Hare, James Buckley and Daniel Amerman all star.
Daniel Meersand and Nick Simon wrote this script.
