Ouija star Douglas Smith, pictured, booked an unknown role in Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions now-filming Terminator, with “Game of Thrones‘” Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his iconic Terminator role, reports Deadline.
It is being directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World, “Game of Thrones”).
The new film is written by Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry).
Terminator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (Divergent), J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man, “OZ”), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), and Byung-Hun Lee (Red 2).
The Terminator franchise launched in 1984 with Schwarzenegger as the title character and spanned three subsequent films, which have earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
Paramount will distribute the film worldwide on July 1, 2015.
