If all goes well, Columbia Pictures could have the third film in production as early as next spring, says franchise star Dan Aykroyd.
“It looks like we’ll be in pre-production in the spring now, from what I’m hearing,” Aykroyd told Carson Daly during his interview on the “Today Show”. “It should be good.”
I feel like the “spring shoot” has been rumored each and every year for the past decade. With that, I don’t put much stock in the story. Still, it would be fun to eventually see a new, younger generation of ‘Busters taking on the slime-filled streets of New York.
