They say movies reflect society, which makes me wonder what’s going on in society that “Rosemary’s Baby” seems to be inspiring everything?
“Mad Men” star Elisabeth Moss, pictured, is exploding onto the movie scene, and has more on her plate as she will reteam with her Listen Up Philip director Alex Ross Perry for indie Queen of the Earth, reports THR.
Perry wrote and will direct the psychological thriller, which is inspired by films like Repulsion and Rosemary’s Baby.
“It centers on two women who retreat to a beach house to get a break from the pressures of the outside world, only to realize how disconnected from each other they have become, allowing their suspicions to bleed into reality.”
Drinking Buddies director-writer-producer Joe Swanberg is producing.
