Sony is making some rather bold claims about their PS4 exclusive teen slasher game Until Dawn. Apparently, it will “reinvent horror”.. I mean, in a way it is. There aren’t many teen slasher games out there, so there’s plenty of room for innovation in that subgenre. I also admire their willingness to take a game that looked to be pretty far along when it was first revealed back in 2012 and completely rebuild it for current-gen consoles.
I do have high hopes for this one, if only because I’ve waited a long time for a game like this to come along. I sure hope it doesn’t disappoint.
