‘V/H/S’ Madness at Beyond Fest This Weekend!
Those of you in Los Angeles get your asses to the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood for our very special presentation of V/H/S Viral, which begins Sunday, September 28 @7:30PM. Get tickets here!
This year, Beyond Fest are celebrating the world of VHS and what better way for us to pay tribute than by presenting the horror series that was made for the very format!
Promising an evening of madness and fun, we will be starting off with our favourite segments of V/H/S and V/H/S/2 introduced by some very special friends whilst also showing you our favourite odd trailers, adverts and clips!
Then – the only way to follow: V/H/S Viral! With a unique new angle, the new anthology in the ever-popular series tells the story of a group of teens who inadvertently find themselves the latest internet sensation in tales that promise to bring gore, ghosts and more into the cinema.

“A police chase after a deranged ice cream truck has captivated the attention of the greater Los Angeles area. Director David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) is back this summer with dinosaurs-in-suburbia mystery box movie The End of Oak Street, and tickets are on sale NOW.
To celebrate tickets being put up for grabs this morning, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for The End of Oak Street along with a few new official posters.

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor come face-to-face with a monstrous threat in The End of Oak Street, which looks like M. Night Shyamalan with retro-style Amblin vibes.
As Mitchell explained to Entertainment Weekly, inspirations for the film include Jurassic Park, The Twilight Zone, Poltergeist, The Valley of Gwangi, and M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs.
The End of Oak Street is set in the early 1980s…
In the film, “After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, the Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.”
Maisy Stella and Christian Convery also star.
The film is written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. The executive producers are Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker.
David Robert Mitchell’s team behind the camera for WB’s The End of Oak Street includes director of photography Michael Gioulakis, production designer Maya Shimoguchi, editor John Axelrad, composer Michael Giacchino and costume designer Erin Benach.
