Sony Pictures will battle the supernatural of the funny bone.
The studio has acquired Ghost Cop in a competitive situation from the writing team of Matt Bass and Teddy Bressman, explains TheWrap.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project is described as “a new twist on the buddy cop comedy.”
Thankfully as to not confuse fans of Bill Cosby’s Ghost Dad, the project is currently untitled, though it sold under the working title of Ghost Cop.
David Alpert and Julian Rosenberg will produce for Circle of Confusion (“The Walking Dead”), whose Matt Smith will executive produce.
