Variety reports that Universal Pictures has acquired horror-thriller Cybernatural, which we reviewed out of Fantasia, and has set an April 10 release date.
The film unfolds over a teen girl’s computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a bully to kill herself a year prior.
The film was developed and conceived by Timur Bekmambetov and directed by Levan Gabriadze from a script by Nelson Greaves.
Here’s the festival trailer.
