Heat Vision writes that Sony has picked up Exposure, a pitch from A Nightmare On Elm Street, Final Destination 5 and The Thing writer Eric Heisserer with Neal Moritz and his Original Film producing.
Heisserer, who will write the script, is also attached to direct and executive produce.
Details of the plot are being kept under quarantine but it is described as a supernatural thriller with elements tonally similar to The Ring, the 2002 horror movie in which a mysterious videotape caused the death of those who watched it.
