Universal Pictures will be celebrating Christmas with their evil Santa Claus movie, Krampus, by releasing the Legendary Pictures’ anthology on Friday, December 4, 2015.
This moves it off of the crowded Wednesday, November 25, 2015 date that has set it up for a long Thanksgiving weekend.
The film, a twisted horror comedy set around the Christmas holiday, is to be directed by Trick ‘r Treat‘s Michael Dougherty.
It’s based on an ancient legend about a pagan demon who punishes the wicked.
