Japanese alt-metal group Dir En Grey have released a promotional music video for their new single “Revelation Of Mankind”, which comes from their upcoming album Arche (out tomorrow).
The video shows a man who is obsessed with the stereotypical nuclear family (mother, father, son, daughter). He then enters their home and begins torturing the parents, convincing the children to join him in the “fun”. the video is also cleverly cut with footage of the band performing live.
Arche is the follow up to 2011’s Dum Spiro Spero, which I felt was a fantastic album, full of dynamic and fascinating songs. I’m very hyped for this new album, especially with this track and the previous single “ASHIOTO of Kukoku” (note: title translated from Google Translate).
