Near Midlothian, Illinois lies Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery, widely believed to be one of the most haunted cemeteries in the US. Countless sightings of ghosts and other paranormal activity have been reported here, but this one stands above them all. In 1991 members of the Ghost Research Society were investigating the site and experienced some strange behavior from their equipment in one specific location. A GRS member took photos of the spot using a high-speed infrared camera and this was the result. There is a clearly visible woman sitting on a tombstone with parts of her body appearing translucent. She appears to be waiting for someone, or something.
