A small piece of annoying news came out of the 2015 Television Critics Association winter press tour, which many sites probably chose to ignore.
Even though the final seasons of Showtime’s “Dexter,” were lame ducks, they’re still open to exploring a spinoff series.
“As long as I sit here it will be part of the ongoing conversation,” explained Showtime president David Nevins. Still, there’s nothing to get excited about as, he adds, “there’s no active development going on at the moment.”
“Dexter” ended with Michael C. Hall’s title character alive and well in another country. Could he eventually return for international mayhem? Would you watch it?
