At last year’s Fantasia Festival, one film crawled under my skin and refused to come out: Aik Karapetian’s The Man in the Orange Jacket (our review). It’s a graceful, violent, and unnerving horror film that’s also apparently the first horror flick out of Latvia.
There’s no word on distribution for the film yet, but Locomotive Productions has released a new trailer, which does a fine job capturing the tense creepiness of Karapetian’s work. Once there’s more news, we’ll be sure to drop it here on the site.
“A laid-off worker kills his ex-boss in cold blood, and assumes his lifestyle. The good times will be short-lived, however as things are about to take an unexpected turn.”
