Trailer mashing is hot as ever, but sometimes people just try and force the wrong two movies into the same box.
Not the case with this nearly perfect The Babadook parody that edits in footage of the 2003 Dr. Seuss adaptation, The Cat In the Hat, which starred Mike Myers as the title character.
Much like the Seuss children’s book, The Babadook is also based around a nursery rhyme found in a book. In this spoof it’s used as the device to introduce the Cat In the Hat. My only real issue is I wish the editor put more footage of the Cat below, because it would have been ten times more hilarious. Either way, this is classic…
