This Wednesday, March 11th sees the release of “Abe Sapien” #21, and from the solicit text we always knew there was something special on these pages. Giving Geof Darrow a run for his money is no easy task. Luckily, we’ve got the perfect teaser for those of you on edge for Wednesday. After last month’s talk heavy issue that ended in a few deaths, there is some real action on the horizon.
We’ve partnered with writer, and Dark Horse EIC, Scott Allie to give us a little more insight into the issue: “We’ve done a couple issues focused on supporting characters, but we hadn’t done one on a villain yet. We tried to build up the mystery around what’s going on in Burnham across the preceding issues, and the reader knows Arbogast is the villain, but they’ve had no real idea what he’s up to. After the undead cliffhanger last issue, it was fun to step back, introduce the villain fresh, and let his real agenda emerge…”

The villain takes center stage as south Texas’s necromancy problem is revealed, and Sebastián Fiumara gives Geof Darrow a run for his money.
For those of you looking for the Mignolaverse to be a bigger part of BD, I’ve got just the thing. We have a new writer coming on board to take care of all things Mignola. Stay tuned, folks.
