When he’s not rocking that 80’s sci-fi/horror retrosynth vibe as Perturbator, French musician James Kent works on his other project L’Enfant De La Forêt, which is far more cinematic and sinister, although it still has its moments of ambient beauty.
To celebrate the release date of the full album Abraxas, which comes out on May 1st via Revolving Door Records, a full stream of the track “Angst” has been made available, which you can listen to below. Personally, I hear a mixture of Portishead and Akira Yamaoka with, believe it or not, the subtlest dashes of Rammstein. If you want something to creep you out, I wholly recommend giving this one a spin.
