Thrash metal titans Slayer were planning on bringing the world “When The Stillness Comes”, a new track this Saturday via a limited 7″ vinyl for Record Store Day. However, the band is letting fans hear it ahead of that scheduled release and you can stream it below.
The track is more of a mid-tempo song, embracing a very dark, malevolent atmosphere. It roars with distorted fury but still tempers back with minimalistic passages, insinuating itself like a serpent. It embraces dissonance and rage while maintaining that signature Slayer sound. Fans will definitely embrace this track.
