Am I the only one who isn’t enamored with Ryan Gosling? He’s sort of bland, and I always feel like I’m watching Gosling instead of the character he’s supposed to be portraying. I loved him in Drive, but haven’t found anything that excited me since.
Now, he’s in negotiations to star in the Blade Runner sequel alongside Harrison Ford, Variety reported.
Thankfully, Prisoners helmer Denis Villeneuve is directing the sci-fi thriller for Alcon Entertainment with Ridley Scott exec producing.
Written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, the Blade Runner sequel, which ties into the Alien and Prometheus universes, will take place several decades after the 1982 original, which took place in a dystopian 2019 Los Angeles.
Ford will reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the film; it’s unknown whom Gosling will play.
