Universal Delays Monster Movies, ‘Pacific Rim 2’

The Universal Monsters brain trust is having a cramp as the studio is pushing the entire universe back by a year.

Things started with last year’s Dracula Untold and were to continue in The Mummy next year. Instead, the Alex Kurtzman-directed reboot will now hit theaters on March 24th, 2017.

The rippled effect pushes back the third Universal Monster Movie, yet to be announced, to March 30th, 2018. It could be any of the teased reboots to The Wolf Man, The Invisible Man, Frankenstein, or even The Bride of Frankenstein. Try and keep up with everything here.

In other monster news, Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim sequel has been pushed a few months sending it back to August 4th, 2017, making it an end of summer movie.
