What I’m about to share with you is one of the best SNES/Genesis games I’ve never played, and I can tell just based on the look of this faux video game screen grab.
Junkboy imagines John Carpenter’s 1988 They Live as an old-school side-scrolling vid game, and it’s wonderful. The graphic, which I wish was for sale, looks something like “Streets of Rage”, only with Nada (Roddy Piper) and Frank (Keith David) -rocking a pair of the sunglasses – battling aliens with a shotgun and uzi. They Live would have been the perfect video game adaptation, clearly.
