Mandy Moore – who has become a voice talent for various cartoons – has closed a deal for a starring role in Dimension Films’ thriller 47 Meters Down, says Deadline.
Directed by Johannes Roberts (Storage 24), “the pic centers on two sisters, Kate and Lisa, who are trapped in an observation cage at the bottom of the ocean, with oxygen running low and hungry great whites circling nearby.”
Moore plays Kate, although there’s no details on her character. But, I will say I love the idea of seeing Moore battle blood-thirsty great whites!
Mark Lane and James Harris are producing 47 Meters Down for their The Tea Shop and Film Company.
