A new photo from director Rob Zombie’s upcoming film 31 has been released, although it’s from a rather interesting perspective. Rather than being a normal behind-the-scenes shot, this photo comes from Josh Hasty and the accompanying documentary that he’s working on for the film. The documentary film will follow the shoot from pre to post-production, according to Zombie’s own site.
Says Hasty of the shot:
Going through 500+ hours of footage (yes five hundred) on my Rob Zombie 31 doc. Here’s a screen cap of RZ and his DP, David Daniels, planning out one of my favorite scenes in the film. A poetic nightmare!
The synopsis for 31 reads:
31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World.
Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which ‘The Heads’- murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.
