Amazing news to report as director David Lynch has tweeted that Twin Peaks IS happening and that the show will return!
Lynch specifically writes:
Dear Twitter Friends, the rumors are not what they seem ….. It is !!! Happening again. #TwinPeaks returns on @SHO_Network
Lynch had recently announced his departure from the series after being unable to reach the necessary fundamentals that he felt were required for the show to succeed. His return was asked for by fans as well as cast and crew for weeks following his departure.
This is fantastic news for all fans of the show!
