It’s Every Monster for Itself in ‘The Evil Within: The Executioner’
So far, The Evil Within has kept pretty consistent with its DLC, which started off strong, even if its conclusion wasn’t quite as exciting as it could’ve been. It’s because of this — and the fact that we’ll soon get to play as the Keeper — that I have high hopes for the third expansion, The Executioner.
It’ll be bittersweet to see the post-release support for The Evil Within come to an end, but at least it’ll free up Shinji Mikami and his Tango Gameworks studio to work on their next big project.
Like the other two expansions, this DLC will be unlocked automatically for owners of the $19.99 season pass. It can also be purchased individually for $4.99.
The Executioner releases on May 26 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
