Developer Saibot Studios has finally revealed Doorways: Holy Mountains of Flesh, which will serve as the concluding chapter in the Doorways tetralogy.
This chapter will take place in El Chacal, a remote Argentinian village that Thomas Foster — played by you — decides to visit in order to investigate local rumors that claim its inhabitants are into cannibalism and black magic. In his quest for answers, Foster will need to hunt down the source of these horrific urban legends, an entire family of psychos led by a man named El Asador.
That sounds a bit like Resident Evil 4 meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Consider me on board!
Doorways is a flawed series that has a tendency to rely too heavily on overly complex puzzles. If you can power through that frustration, the atmosphere and enemy design makes this series well worth the visit.
