Forget E3, Capcom is ready to show off the Resident Evil 0 remaster now. This is one of the few games in the series that I’ve never really bonded with. It’s like the shy cousin I never took the time to get to know, even though everyone has nothing but good things to say about them. I can’t even say for sure that I ever finished it.
Resident Evil 0 serves as a prequel to the original game — the same one Capcom just remastered — before Jill and Co. would be dispatched to investigate the missing S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team. When her helicopter crashes in the woods outside Raccoon City, Rebecca Chambers must join forces with escaped convict Billy Coen in order to survive another round of unimaginable horrors, courtesy of the dicks who run the Umbrella Corporation.
Resident Evil 0 HD releases on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2016.
