Metal band Lamb Of God have released a new track titled “512”. The track is the 3rd song on the band’s upcoming album VII: Sturm Und Drang, which comes out July 24th via Epic Records (pre-order via iTunes).
The song uses werewolf themes in the lyrics to describe the feelings and necessities when imprisoned. Vocalist Randy Blythe cries out, “Lycanthropic survival instincts/Embrace the beast and shun the weak/Awake the primal one that sleeps inside/Or feel the shiver running through your spine!” Personally, I love this track. It’s dark, it’s brooding, and it’s deliciously sinister.
