“Justice League: Gods and Monsters” continues to edge out the animated DC Universe as the one to watch in the overcrowded superhero genre. Years ago, Batman the Animated Series firmly established a darker tone than any other kids show before it, and now Gods and Monsters cements the legacy.
Today’s episode treats us to the debut of Wonder Woman, but she’s not quite as we know her. She’s impaling Kobra soldiers and talking candidly about her sex life. After Wednesday’s Superman episode, and now today, I can’t think of a superhero story better suited for Bloody-Disgusting.
