After selling out in both Los Angeles and London, New York will be host to Danny Elfman’s Music From The Films Of Tim Burton, a celebration of the music of this wild and decorated composer. There will be eight performances held at the Lincoln Center‘s Avery Fisher Hall and attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Tim Burton character.

The…two hour live concert event will be conducted by John Mauceri, founding director of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and features a live performance by Danny Elfman reprising his role of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Performed with a full orchestra of 87 and choir, the concert is enhanced with the stunning visuals of Tim Burton’s original sketches, drawings, story boards and film clips rendered in exquisite detail on the big screen.
