Artist Hal Hefner created a series of fantastic images that take some of the most iconic pop culture icons and turns them into the aliens from John Carpenters They Live. Dubbed the “Consume” series, the images convert icons such as George Washington, Steve Jobs, Katy Perry, George R.R. Martin, and more.
Hefner writes:
The CONSUME art series is inspired by John Carpenter’s 80’s cult classic movie, THEY LIVE. It features POP CULTURE’S most treasured icons as the true blue skinned, alien overlords, they really are.
