Yesterday, Paul Feig took to Twitter to reveal the outfits what would be worn in the new Ghostbusters. Now, he’s revealed the most important part of the full costume: the proton packs.
Below is a photo of a pack and the first thing I noticed was how rough and homemade it looked. Wires are exposed instead of being wrapped and the metal is worn and scuffed. Also, there’s a nuclear radiation logo, which makes me wonder if there’s going to be a Walter Peck-esque character who rightfully demands to know how the packs and the containment system works.
The film, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth, is currently filming in Boston. Feig is directing the film based of a script written by him and Kate Dippold while Ivan Reitman is producing the film. It is expected to release on July 22, 2016.
