A new teaser for AMC’s upcoming spinoff “Fear The Walking Dead” interviews many of the show’s crew and cast on the sets of the show. Executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Dave Erickson, and Robert Kirkman explain their vision and their mission for the series while stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, and Alycia Debnam Carey go on about what their characters interact with and what life is like on the set.
The video also shows off several locations that are being used for filming, which show barricaded businesses and abandoned streets. It’s all being filmed in parts of LA that are, according to Curtis, “…perhaps not pretty but, as a setting for the show, it feels real.”
The series stars Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, “Sons of Anarchy”) as Madison, Cliff Curtis (“Missing,” “Gang Related”) as Travis, Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) as Nick and Alycia Debnam-Carey (Into the Storm) as Alicia. Also joining the cast as series regulars are Elizabeth Rodriguez (“Orange is the New Black”) as Liza and Mercedes Mason (Quarantine 2: Terminal) as Ofelia.
The first season will have six episodes and is set to premiere in August.
