Shark Week is that special time of year where we all come together to pay tribute to our toothy friends in the sea. We do this mostly out of a totally respectable fear for what is essentially a species comprised of living weapons made from an overabundance of teeth and muscle that’s guided by a predatory instinct that’s been honed over millions of years.
The multiplayer horror game Depth is celebrating this very special week with a free update that adds a map called Stash and a game mode called Hide and Seek. In it, a lone shark must hunt down the divers until none are left. When a diver is turned into deep sea poo, that player joins the shark team. Usually, surviving long enough to be the last diver left un-chummed would be a good thing, but not in Depth, where all it means is you’re now going up against a hell of a lot of sharks.
You might also like to know that Depth is 66% off on Steam starting today.
