Legendary heavy metal band and pioneers of the doom metal genre Pentagram have announced that they will be releasing their new studio album Curious Volume on August 28th via Peaceville Records. It is the first new album since 2011’s Last Rites.
Below are two tracks from the album, “Misunderstood” and “Walk Alone”. The former was written in the 70’s by vocalist Bobby Liebling and it was played live in the 80’s. However, this is the first time it appears on an album. As for the latter, Liebling describes it as, “…a song of devastation conquered by optimism and realization of self-worth. There is a light if you force yourself to look for it.”
