‘Jurassic World’ Will Reopen In 2018!
Jurassic Park never opened to the public. Jurassic World did, and because of poor screenwriting planning everything went to shit. A lot of people died.
The park, though, was a huge success. It’s one of the highest grossing theme parks movies of all time having topped $1.5 BILLION worldwide.
A sequel to Jurassic World (review) was mentioned soon after the monstrous opening weekend. Now, it’s official, as Jurassic World 2 will open for business on June 22, 2018.
Also, stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning as Owen and Claire, respectively.

Colin Trevorrow is not returning to direct, so watch this spot for an announcement shortly.
In Jurassic World, a new theme park is built on the original site of Jurassic Park. Everything is going well until the park’s newest attraction–a genetically modified giant stealth killing machine–escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.
Now, the plan for years was to tell the tale of genetically modified dinosaurs that are utilized as military weapons. This plot was teased in this summer’s blockbuster setting the stage for a military-themed followup. The only thing that worries me is that they originally planned to create a human-dinosaur hybrid. No thank you.
Either way, I welcome another Jurassic film, so long as they can figure out how to write characters that aren’t a bunch of friggin’ idiots. Jurassic World was tons of fun, can you imagine what they could achieve if they had a solid screenplay this time around?!
